In order to explore the partial differential equations without introducing the dimensions of energy, momentum and continuity, a set of dimensionless nonlinear systems of partial differential equations were solved using the numerical finite difference method. Because of the assumed parameter ramifications of the velocity and temperature problem are also investigated without dependence on dimensions. Temperatures and momentum profiles are derived via finite differences. Following that, a qualitative and visual presentation of the parameter results on the velocity and temperature profiles is made .
2023-03-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Alaa Hammodat https://journalsc.qu.edu.iq/index.php/JOPS/article/view/1611 Synthesis, Characterization and Antimicrobial activity of Azo-azomethine Metal Complexes 2023-12-16T12:14:23+00:00 Haitham kadhim Dakheel Haitham.kadhim@qu.edu.iq

In the research, modern complexes also ligand (L) had been synthesized then characterized by using molar conductance measurements, (C.H.N.S), mass spectrum, magnetic susceptivity, “H1-NMR, (FT-IR)” Spectroscopy , (TGA), “UV-Visb.” Spectroscopy ,’X-ray studies” and scanning electron microscope (SEM). mole ratio [M:L] were [1:1] for Silver(I) also gold(III) ions but [1:2] to Copper(II) ion . Here, the current work was conducted to computationally find ERα inhibitors based on the use of certain docking methods. The three-dimensional (3D)-ERα structure was freely docked with the 3D structure of certain ligands, including milbemycin_A3_5-oxime (MA), Baloxavir marboxil (BM), tadalafil (TF), sesamol (SM), raspberry ketone (RK), guaiacol (GuC), proanthocyanidins (PAC), epicatechin (EC), and catechin (CC). The results of the protein-ligand based binding affinity values (kcal/mol) revealed the following; MA= -9.7, TF= -8.5, BM= -8.2, PAC= -8.1, CC= -7.5, EC= -7.2, RK= -6.1, SM= -5.7, and GuC= -4.8. According to the above-mentioned data, milbemycin_A3_5-oxime, tadalafil, Baloxavir marboxil, and proanthocyanidins show the highest binding affinity, which can further be studied in vitro and in vivo for their proposed activity. In addition, catechin, epicatechin, raspberry ketone, sesamol, and guaiacol can also further be investigated for their anti-ERα activity, in which some structural modification to the ligand molecules can be performed to increase their binding action, if they show low ERα-based blocking via in vitro and in vivo research.
2023-02-14T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Noora alyasari https://journalsc.qu.edu.iq/index.php/JOPS/article/view/1592 Soft i-Open Sets in Soft Bi-Topological Spaces 2023-02-28T19:00:33+00:00 Sabih Askandar sabihqaqos@uomosul.edu.iq Beyda S. It has been observed that with an increase in the diameter of the air holes, the refractive index increases and, conversely, the increase in the distance between them leads to a decrease in the refractive index. As for the number of air holes, it has no clear effect. As for the temperature, which is proportional to the frequency and intensity, this increase in temperature leads to an increase in the refractive index of the pulse passing through the photonic crystal fiber. Changing the temperature of the photonic crystal fiber is an interesting for dynamics fine refractive index tuning in active refractive index shift compensation system. this paper present a numerical analysis on the effect of photonic crystal fiber temperature on refractive index and modal features. the research depend on regular hexagonal crystal lattice fibers with specific geometric parameters using finite element method.
2022-06-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2022 mohammed altaie https://journalsc.qu.edu.iq/index.php/JOPS/article/view/1493 Correlation and comparison of some trace elements and their related proteins in Type 2 Diabetes mellitus in Kalars city/ Kurdistan-Iraq. 2023-03-14T18:26:04+00:00 Hero Saed hero.helal@garmian.edu.krd Zeyan Abdullah Ali hero.helal@garmian.edu.krd
The serum levels of trace elements alterations have been linked with Type 2 Diabetes mellitus (T2 DM) and its complication. A. Rahman as.zain9391@stu.edu.iq Basil H. Jasim basil.jasim@uobasrah.edu.iq Ehsan Alhamdawee e.mahsin@qu.edu.iq
Chaos theory plays a significant role in the engineering fields and especially in the security of data transmission in communication systems. In this paper, a new 3-D jerk chaotic system has been suggested. The fundamental dynamical properties, including the fixed points, chaotic attractors, bifurcation diagrams, and Lyapunov exponents are investigated. In communication systems, data security and the implementation of designed transceivers of secure communication scheme can be considered the main challenge for applying such systems. In this work, a 3-D new jerk chaotic scheme has been proposed to be used in data encryption of communication systems. The proposed jerk chaotic system is used for constructing identical transceivers of communication scheme that are presented by a master (transmitter) and a slave (receiver). In the master end, a useful information beam is encrypted through a chaotic signal. On the other hand, in the slave side, the original information beam is retrieved from the mutual transmitted beam by a chaotic synchronization mechanism. The communication scheme transceivers are synchronized by an adaptive observer synchronization mechanism. Finally, the system is tested and evaluated on a stream of binary information that is encrypted in the transmitter and recovered in the receiver. The results show that our proposal cryptosystem has good performance in term of securing transmitted data.
2022-05-04T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2022 Zain-Aldeen S. A. The physicochemical properties of the RCB and RSB were measured using the American Standard for Testing Materials (ASTM) approved protocols for acid, peroxide, iodine, and saponification; density, kinematic viscosity, and refractive index values. Box–Behnken Design's Response Surface Methodology (RSM) was used for optimization. The results for four optimization methods were catalyst concentration (0.300–0.435 percent), speed (500.000–643.242 rpm), and time (20.000–31.386 min). The yield ranged from 81.062 to 102.648 percent, with a desirability range of 0.812 to 0.980 %. These yields were higher when compared to ASTM D 6751 which required a range of 46–55 % in regular biodiesel production. The RSB achieved a maximum yield of 102.649 % while using KOH, compared to 92.017 % in the RCB when using NaOH. The optimum yield of RCB using the KOH catalyst (89.461%) was higher to that of RSB using the NaOH catalyst (81.062%). The catalyst dosage and its nature, were the most essential factor during biodiesel optimization
2022-02-27T11:51:10+00:00 Copyright (c)
